Parents' Area

KEHS is a friendly school which places good relationships with girls and their families at the heart of everything we do. We aim to work with parents to support and nurture pupils at KEHS to become confident young women. Communication is important and we are happy to respond to any question you may have about your daughter’s education.

We keep in touch with parents in a variety of ways:

• The website contains information about most aspects of school life and we hope you find it easy to navigate
• The calendar outlines our main school events; this can be viewed here.
• A newsletter is emailed out to parents weekly, and a termly News Review looks back at the events and highlights of each term, giving us the opportunity to celebrate girls’ many successes. Both are available on the website
• Each year group has a Parents' Evening, where staff meet with parents to discuss their daughter’s progress
• You will receive a short report and a full report each academic year

Individual communications are important to us. If you are unsure who to contact, please email or telephone the school and we will direct your enquiry to the most suitable person. We aim to reply to any query within 24 hours: please be aware that a member of staff may not be able to respond to a query the same day, because of teaching commitments, extra-curricular activities at lunch time and after school meetings. If your enquiry is urgent, our support staff will find someone to deal with it immediately.
