Monday 7th October, KEHS hosted its annual One Day Film School attended by 72 primary school pupils. The day started with an introduction to fight choreography!
On Wednesday 3rd July, we welcomed back the Young Shakespeare Company for the Shakespeare Festival, our final outreach event of the academic year.
On Friday 28th June, we hosted out annual Summer Challenge Outreach Workshop with local Primary schools.
On Monday 25th March, we welcomed 45 pupils from across Birmingham to our Outreach Workshop, led by RE Today.
On Tuesday 12th March, we hosted over 120 pupils from local primary schools for our annual creative writing workshops.
On Monday 11th February, we hosted 70 primary school pupils from across Birmingham for our Physics Roadshow event.
On Tuesday 20th November, KEHS welcomed 75 year five and six pupils from primary schools across Birmingham to take part in our annual Autumn Challenge gifted and talented workshop.
On Wednesday 6th February, we welcomed 20 pupils from local primary schools to our first Public Speaking and Debating Workshop, led by Mrs Hargraves and Ms Waites.
On Monday 26th March, KEHS welcomed 45 pupils from six primary schools across Birmingham to take part in our Outreach workshop entitled, ‘Respect for All.’
On Thursday 15th February, screenwriter and film director Mike Carter visited KEHS to host our annual Creative Writing Workshop.
On Monday 5th February, KEHS welcomed over 100 children from six primary schools across Birmingham to our Physics Roadshow outreach workshop.
On Tuesday 14th November, KEHS welcomed 70 children from a number of primary schools across Birmingham to our annual Autumn Challenge Workshop.
On Monday 9th October, we welcomed 67 students from seven local primary schools to KEHS for the One Day Film School.
Our Friday Afternoon Outreach Programme for gifted and talented children in Years 5 and 6 began on 15th September.
The KEHS Outreach Programme has come to the end of another exciting year. In the summer term, as well as extending our regular Friday afternoon lessons in Maths, English and Science for pupils in Years 5 and 6 due to popular demand, we have run a variety of workshops for primary schools
Since September we have welcomed over 70 children from 7 different schools on Friday afternoons for classes in Maths, English, Science and Spanish.
On Thursday 16th February, screenwriter and film director Mike Carter returned to KEHS to host the annual Creative Writing workshops for primary school pupils across Birmingham.
On Friday 10th February we welcomed Year 6 pupils from a local primary school as part of an Enrichment day jointly hosted with KES.
On Friday 3rd February, we welcomed a class of Year 5 children from a local primary school as part of an Enrichment Day jointly hosted with our neighbouring school, KES.
We welcomed almost 100 children from six different primary schools across Birmingham to our Autumn Challenge Workshop in November.
This year there are seven primary schools from across Birmingham taking part in our weekly Primary Outreach classes which are held on Friday afternoons at KEHS.
After the success of our Spring Term Creative Writing Workshop, we decided to invite screenwriter and film director Mike Carter back to KEHS at the end of the Summer Term to host another workshop for local primary school pupils.
On 26th June and 6th July, we were fortunate enough to welcome the Young Shakespeare Company from London to KEHS to host our annual Shakespeare Festival Workshops.
On Wednesday 22nd June, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 70 local primary school pupils and their teachers to join us on our annual Summer Challenge Workshop.
