KEHS Launches National Arts Event!

We’re incredibly excited to announce that KEHS has launched a national arts event for schools across the country called ‘TuneUp Tuesday’. On Tuesday 24th November we hope to create a powerful, uplifting event that all schools in the country (both primary and secondary) can take part in, connecting us all through the arts.

We are providing a library of virtual resources for schools including: five-minute activities aimed to develop their artistic skills, careers talks aimed at older students, and live-streams of arts performances. These resources are being generously provided by industry experts and big names across all sectors of the arts, for example, Cirque du Soleil, the Globe Theatre, the Young Vic, the Gecko, and the CBSO, plus household names such as Sheku Kanneh-Mason (BBC Young Musician and the cellist at the wedding of Harry and Meghan), John Carey (Lord of the Dance) and Martha Howe-Douglas (Horrible Histories).

We already have thousands of schoolchildren across the UK signed up to take part in the day. If you, or someone you know, would like to take part and help to inspire the next generation, please contact us here. Please spread the word to any other schools you have contacts with too! It’s an opportunity not to miss!
