Over the weekend, Derwent and Ritisha played with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Both students enjoyed the concert, playing Intermezzo, Les Toreadors and Habanera from Bizet's Carmen and a section of Jupiter and all of Mars from Holst's Planets Suite.​
