On Monday 4th February, Lower Fifth students visited Birmingham’s Symphony Hall for GCSE Science Live! The students were treated to five lectures which covered a range of topics including stem cell and embryo research, the moon, wormholes and time travel. The speakers were all well-known scientists in their fields, including Professor Robert Winston, Professor Alice Roberts and Professor Jim Al-Khalili. The event also provided the students with some useful tips on examination techniques from examiner Stewart Chenery. Altogether, the event was a very interesting day and enjoyable for everyone.
