During the Easter holiday, Upper Fifth students took a welcome break from their GCSE revision to complete their Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice expedition. Everyone got off to a good start, the weather was sunny and students had a relaxing evening defending their supper from the resident chickens! The next two days proved challenging as Storm Hannah descended upon the UK. Nevertheless, each group proved hardy and resilient, displaying excellent navigation skills. All students completed the challenge very successfully and are now ready to move onto the test expedition in the summer.

Year 12 ‘Futures’ Event
On Wednesday, KES and KEHS students crisscrossed the KEHS site to attend a variety of university taster talks. The sessions helped the students to think about possible future subject, course, and university choices.
