Students in U4K recently created posters encouraging people to vote, taking inspiration from the Women’s Suffrage Campaigns. The posters were a wonderful way to revise before the end of year examinations, and to reflect on how women gained the vote. The activity also encouraged students to consider the impact of universal suffrage on the British political system – particularly relevant at this turbulent time. The best five posters will be entered into the National Historical Association competition. Well done to all students – the posters are fabulous, and it will be a tough choice to select the best for the competition.
