Parents’ Association

We welcome all parents and carers with a daughter at KEHS and are proud to play a central role in the life of this wonderful school, supporting its work and strengthening the close-knit community of girls and their families.  

The PA raises money through social events and second-hand uniform sales so that we can fund special items to enrich the school’s facilities: over the years, we have bought benches for the school grounds, a display cabinet to house trophies in the Sports Centre, and artwork for the Prayer and Reflection Room. 

Many parents also help our girls by sharing their skills, experience and contacts, for example, through talks and advice on academic studies, careers, internships and networking. The PA Committee administers a Trust Fund, which can provide financial help for pupils in need. 

We organise events each term, giving parents and girls the chance to socialise while helping raise valuable funds. 

The main PA Committee meets four times each year to discuss events, strategy and funding requests in an informal, supportive atmosphere and all parents are welcome to attend, while smaller sub-groups organise specific events. The school parent population continually moves on so we always welcome new members. A ‘once only’ payment of £15 appears on your first term invoice and this activates your membership throughout your daughter’s time at KEHS. We hope that you will be happy to support the PA through this contribution. 

As parents ourselves, we understand that most families have many commitments but we’d be hugely grateful if you could support us, maybe through attending the main meetings, helping at a particular event, or, if your time is very limited, perhaps donating a raffle prize or attending one of our social events.
