Amira, in the Thirds, recently achieved 27th place in the National Cross Country championships. In a race of nearly 200 of the very best young athletes in England in her age group, this position represents a significant success. Amira represented the West Midlands and achieved first place amongst her team, consolidating her position as a leading runner in the region. Well done Amira!

King Edward VI High School for Girls, Birmingham (KEHS) has been named West Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence for the fifth year in a row and is once again the highest-ranking independent school outside London and the South East, with a national ranking of 11th.
