Thirds Geography Fieldtrip to Malvern and Ledbury

​On Tuesday 15th May, the Thirds went to the beautiful Malvern Hills and the picturesque village of Ledbury. We were all astounded by the breathtaking sights before our eyes.

On Tuesday 15th May, the Thirds went to the beautiful Malvern Hills and the picturesque village of Ledbury. We were all astounded by the breathtaking sights before our eyes. After discussing the geology of the area, at a height of more than a hundred metres, we completed a series of activities testing our map and observation skills before enjoying a walk down the hill and a short drive to the village of Ledbury. There, we carried out a number of surveys to determine the land uses in the area and afterwards spent some time in the village shops. With the perfect weather for the trip, it was overall a very successful day.
