On Wednesday 13th November, the RPAC played host to a Creative Sector Evening, welcoming Old Edwardians and friends of both schools to discuss their varied careers. KEHS and KES students from the Upper Fifth and Sixth Form were able to hear from a multitude of professionals, including those from the worlds of theatre and art heritage, to games design and music production, amongst many others. After a panel discussion in the Ruddock Hall there was a drinks reception in the foyer, which proved to be an excellent networking opportunity! The overwhelming message was that pathways in the creative arts are rarely linear and that flexibility is key. For example, one Old Edwardian studied Astrophysics at Cambridge, but now works as a voice artist! We would like to thank all our visitors for taking the time to share their experiences with our students and to be so generous in offering further guidance. Hopefully this will have provided inspiration to pursue passions beyond school!

The great Easter Debate: a sweet, chaotic showdown

If you were expecting a serious, well-structured debate at this year’s Easter debate, you were in for a surprise. Culture Week

Culture Week wasn’t just a week, it was a reflection of who we are as a school. It was a reminder that diversity isn’t just something we talk about at KEHS. It’s something we embrace.
