On Tuesday 3rd March, Namrata, Gracia, Samantha and Jasmeen competed in the West Midlands Chemistry Quiz at the University of Birmingham. They completed a ten round quiz under timed conditions. They were required to conduct different activities including balancing equations, solving chemical anagrams, identifying substances, analysing patterns and carrying out multi-step calculations. The girls thoroughly enjoyed participating in the quiz and worked exceptionally well as a team. The standard was extremely high with our girls achieving fifth place in the competition, making them the highest placed girls’ team in the West Midlands region.
