Miss Proops delivered an inspirational assembly to the whole school on 27th April about Captain Tom Moore and his incredibly successful fundraising initiative which, to date, has raised over £29 million. Our girls were asked to think about how to stay positive. Miss Proops described how the NHS has created some innovative ‘wobble rooms’ to help staff manage the stress and anxiety associate with treating Covid-19 patients.
On Thursday 4 July, 31 Lower Fourths from KEHS and eight Upper Middle pupils from KES set off from Birmingham airport to spend five days exploring the beautiful Rhineland area of Germany.
On the 21st of June, the KES/KEHS Hindu forum organised and hosted a Holi event at Eastern Road.
We recently held our annual ArtsFest week, where several departments hosted curriculum lessons or co-curricular activities to enable pupils to engage with the arts in a range of ways.
We are very pleased to share that Upper Fifth pupil Srilakshmi has been elected as Youth Police and Crime Commissioner (YPCC) for Birmingham West.
