Miss Proops delivered an inspirational assembly to the whole school on 27th April about Captain Tom Moore and his incredibly successful fundraising initiative which, to date, has raised over £29 million. Our girls were asked to think about how to stay positive. Miss Proops described how the NHS has created some innovative ‘wobble rooms’ to help staff manage the stress and anxiety associate with treating Covid-19 patients.
Pupils at King Edward VI High School for Girls (KEHS) continue to demonstrate exceptional academic performance, with remarkable GCSE results across a diverse, and broadening, range of subjects.
Upper Sixth pupils at KEHS are celebrating a stellar set of A Level results with individual stories of academic and co-curricular success being prominent among the achievements of this year’s cohort.
On Thursday 4 July, 31 Lower Fourths from KEHS and eight Upper Middle pupils from KES set off from Birmingham airport to spend five days exploring the beautiful Rhineland area of Germany.
On the 21st of June, the KES/KEHS Hindu forum organised and hosted a Holi event at Eastern Road.
