Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
The SEND Department works collaboratively with the leadership team, pastoral staff and teachers, to provide provision for students with SEND.
We are experienced in supporting students with a range of general or specific difficulties, and medical or emotional problems, which can be temporary or long-term. We pride ourselves on getting to know students well, so that we can fully understand their needs, in order for them to access the curriculum, achieve their potential and enjoy all the opportunities of school life, making any appropriate reasonable adjustments required.
To learn more about our approach to SEND, please refer to our SEND policy.

The Warnock Room
The Warnock Room is a dedicated SEND space, which provides a quiet place for students who require it, during study periods, recess, lunchtime, and before and after school. Regular access to the Warnock Room is granted by Ms Hewson, but students are welcome to drop in if they would like to speak to Miss Rowley or Ms Hewson regarding a learning need.
If you wish to enquire regarding support for your daughter or wish to get more information before a medical referral, please email k.hewson@kehs.org.uk
