Mrs Kirsty von Malaisé

Principal

Mrs von Malaisé has been Principal of King Edward VI High School for Girls since September 2020, and is Chief Master & Principal designate of KES and KEHS. Educated at music school, conservatoire and University of Cambridge, Mrs von Malaisé began her career teaching English in London state schools, before becoming Deputy Head at Putney High School.

As Headmistress of Norwich High School, she led the school to be awarded ‘Independent Girls’ School of the Year’. The recipient of a transformational bursary for her own education, she is committed to ensuring that our Assisted Places scheme remains strong. Her interests include music and mountain-walking.
