Over the Easter holidays, 17 students travelled to Córdoba in Spain to take part in our annual Spanish exchange trip. The students were immediately immersed in Spanish culture and were offered many opportunities to get involved, including taking part in language lessons, visiting famous monuments as well as taking part in a Flamenco dance workshop, all of which were educational and lots of fun. The weather was rainy, however, this did not dampen the students’ spirits. Everyone had a great week getting to know their exchange partners and families and learning from native Spanish speakers, which was really helpful in building their confidence and conversational skills. The students are looking forward to their exchange partners’ return visit to the UK in June.
