Welcome to King Edward VI High School for Girls
We are delighted that your daughter will be joining our Sixth Form in September. We very much look forward to welcoming your family into our community.

Let the adventure begin: Induction Day
All new Sixth Formers are invited to our full induction day on Tuesday 7 July and Wednesday 8 July 2026.
On this day, your daughter will:
Meet her Form Tutor and classmates, starting the friendships and connections that will shape her Sixth Form journey at KEHS
Explore the school, getting familiar with her new environment
Take part in engaging activities designed to help her feel confident and supported at school
By the end of the day, your daughter will feel like a valued member of the KEHS community - ready and excited to join us in September.

To help us prepare for your daughter’s arrival at KEHS, please could you complete the questionnaires below, which cover medical information, consent and key details by Monday 11 May 2026.

Information about fees
Our Fees Office will be in touch shortly with details of how to arrange payment for the first term, making the process as straightforward as possible.
Your daughter's digital life
We are launching a new set of resources for parents, which will grow with time and continue to be updated as technology, opportunity and risks evolve.
Our aims are to:
- Strengthen parents’ understanding of the digital world their daughters inhabit
- Equip parents to support safe and responsible digital behaviour
- Build parents’ confidence in supporting the academic use of technology
- Improve communication between parents and their daughters about online experiences
- Promote digital wellbeing and balanced technology use

- Provide reassurance, clarity, and practical next steps

Getting started with music
Music plays a vibrant and important part in life at KEHS, with a wide range of ensembles, instrumental lessons and performance opportunities available to girls of all abilities.
A few key dates to add to your diary
- Induction Day: Tuesday 7 July and Wednesday 8 July
- Start of school: Thursday 3 September – the adventure continues with the first day of Sixth Form!
- KEHS Open Evening: Thursday 17 September – your daughter will have the opportunity to meet prospective families
- October half-term: Monday 19 October – Friday 30 October (Please note this is a two-week break)
