Chess Success!

After two years of agonising draws and defeats, on Friday 29th March, our chess team was triumphant against Kings Norton Girls’ School, in a game ending 6-2. The team’s coach, Mr Ridges, commented ,“it’s a testament to the team’s resilience. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished these past few months.

The team’s coach, Mr Ridges, commented ,“it’s a testament to the team’s resilience. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished these past few months. It’s more than a game of chess, it’s a test of character.” Congratulations to Shriya, Madhini, Aparna, Anya and Annah.
