Last week, two fundraising events were held in school to raise money for Children in Need. Wednesday 14th November saw the highly anticipated ‘Are you smarter than a Sixth Former’ in which the teachers battled it out in a general knowledge quiz against the Upper Sixth. Each round was a tense battle of wit (with highlights including plenty of one liners from Mr Jarvis and Miss Platt singing I Will Survive!) but the final result saw the teachers triumph against the sixth formers. On Friday 16th November, we had our annual day of wearing spotty clothing and accessories and it was lovely to see both staff and pupils get involved! Both events raised a grand total of £185.93 for Children in Need.
