Diwali is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. It symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Light is a metaphor for knowledge and consciousness. To celebrate this festival of light, West Midlands Combined Authority along with the Consulate General of India and Sampad Arts, held a spectacular event on Saturday 19th October at Victoria Square in Birmingham City Centre. There were live performances of singing and dancing portraying the diverse cultures in India. Three girls from KEHS participated in a wonderful group dance performance. We are very proud of Ritisha, Oishani and Amrita for their excellent and entertaining performance.
