Congratulations to Ivy, Zoe, Ami, Jiali, Rhea and Nikita for their performances at the Lunchtime Recital on Thursday 7th November at the Ruddock Hall. Jiali, Rhea and Nikita began the concert with Danzi’s Wind Quintet No.2 in G minor. The quintet captured the mood of the piece with a playful Allegretto, a lively minuet and finished with intensity in the final movement. Ivy, Zoe and Ami performed the first movement from Dvořák’s String Quartet No.9 in D minor. The quartet captured Dvořák’s Allegro superbly, playing with conviction, expressiveness and musicality.
