On Thursday 13th June, Upper Fourth Drama students visited Birmingham’s Repertory Theatre to see Captain Corelli’s Mandolin based on the novel by Louis de Bernières and adapted for the stage by Rona Munro. The production was visually stunning and we were treated to beautiful moments of physical theatre, exciting use of projection and an emotionally engaging love story set against the German and Italian occupation of Cephalonia in 1941.
