On Thursday 2nd May, the Engineering Education Scheme team attended a Celebration and Assessment Day. This event was their chance to showcase the project they have been working on for the past nine months, as well as viewing other teams’ projects – there were over 60 teams! In addition, the students delivered a 15 minute presentation explaining their project to senior engineers from the industry. To close the event, speeches were given that included one from the keynote speaker, Roma Agrawal, a successful structural engineer. Well done to Michelle, Katrina, Catherine and Naomi. The students would like to thank Arup for acting as their sponsor, Mrs Hall for her support throughout the project and Mr Pollard for providing the materials for their model.
