On Thursday 9th May, students in the Thirds visited the Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Smethwick and the Birmingham Buddhist vihara in Ladywood, as part of their work in Religious Studies. Students enjoyed guided tours and informative lectures at both sites, and were even treated to delicious vegetarian food at the Gurdwara! Lara delivers fascinating talk at TEDxTamworth
During the Easter holidays, Lower Sixth pupil Lara was selected to speak at TEDxTamworth, where she stepped onto the stage alongside 11 adult speakers to deliver a talk on ‘Why The AI Age Belongs to the Teen Generalist’.
