On Friday 30th November, 18 Upper Fifth students spent the day at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham. The day consisted of learning new techniques from celebrity chefs in various workshops, giving the students new insights into the industry, tasting delicious foods and exploring how different dietary requirements are catered for. Overall, the students learned a lot about the importance of making good food choices and how to develop crucial life skills, as well as offering some inspiration to girls who are interested in pursuing a career in the industry.

Honouring the Legacy of Major Charity Adams and the 6888 Battalion
King Edward’s School was honoured to welcome Stanley and Judith Earley, the son and daughter of Major Charity Adams, who visited the campus to see the blue plaque and other areas of the grounds connected to their family’s history.
