On Saturday 8th December, Amira competed in a wet and windy inter-counties race in Cheshire, achieving fifth place! Representing the West Midlands, Amira beat some local rivals and tough competitors from across the country to achieve this outstanding result – one of the best performances of the day from any West Midlands athlete. Tess, Salihah and Anisa also ran in testing conditions and were 29th, 60th and 80th in their respective races. Well done to all involved, and best wishes for continued success in 2019.
