Congratulations to Nandini in the Upper Sixth who was announced as the KEHS Poet Laureate 2018-2019. The winning poem Marigolds can be viewed here.

Poems were entered on the theme of education, which was inspired by the writer Muriel Spark. 2018 marked the birth of Spark, whose novel ’The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie’ is considered to be the best book written about a girls’ school in the UK. Spark was often described as ‘the school’s poet and dreamer’ and this competition offered a platform for the poets and the dreamers of KEHS.
