This week, the Thirds began raising funds for the fantastic charity, Lepra, which we support every year. In an assembly on Thursday 16th January, a speaker from the charity discussed the physical, social and emotional problems which leprosy causes around the globe. Lepra increases understanding of the disease, and funds its treatment in Bangladesh, India and Mozambique. On Friday 17th January, the charity ran a Zumba workout session in the Hall, which all the Thirds greatly enjoyed. They now have until 14th February to raise as much money for the charity as possible, and already in the planning are Sponsored ‘No Tech Days’ and a Sponsored Sleep!
