Congratulations to the musicians who performed at last week’s lunchtime recital. The ‘Rose Quartet’ of Samantha, Jennifer, Naina and Beatrice treated us to a stunning performance of the vivace ma non troppo from Dvořák’s American Quartet No. 12. This was followed by a tremendous interpretation of Shostakovich’s Polka from Two Pieces for String Quartet.
