Last week’s Performers’ Platform was a showcase of solo performances and chamber music by advanced musicians from both schools. Isabel, on the violin, performed John Williams’ Remembrances from Schindler’s List. Sara, on the harp, played Debussy’s Arabesque No.1. Rebecca, performed Mendelssohn’s Rondo Capriccioso op.14 and, for the finale, we were treated to a performance of Schubert’s Presto from String Quartet No.8 by Emily, Jessie, James and Salihah.

Sikh Society Hosts Spectacular Langar Celebration for Chet and the Sikh New Year
This Langar wasn’t just about food — it was a celebration of the Sikh values of seva (selfless service), equality, and community spirit. Pupils who had never attended a Langar before were able to experience a tradition that is as much about giving and gratitude as it is about sharing a meal.
