Last week’s Performers’ Platform was a showcase of solo performances and chamber music by advanced musicians from both schools. Isabel, on the violin, performed John Williams’ Remembrances from Schindler’s List. Sara, on the harp, played Debussy’s Arabesque No.1. Rebecca, performed Mendelssohn’s Rondo Capriccioso op.14 and, for the finale, we were treated to a performance of Schubert’s Presto from String Quartet No.8 by Emily, Jessie, James and Salihah.
