On Saturday 25th January, our school Mock Trial team headed over to Birmingham Crown Court to participate in the Independent Schools Mock Trial competition. Donning suits and arguing in front of judges in real courts was an invaluable way to get a glimpse into the life of a barrister; we were also grateful to hear advice on entering a legal career from lawyers and judges. Our joint KEHS/KES team won all three of their rounds, were declared joint winners of the competition, and will be moving forward to the national finals in April! Congratulations go to: Shivanii, Abdea, Mia, Chloe, Cathy, Krithika, Charlotte, Kirsten, Michelle and Hannah. Many thanks, as well, to Miss Williams for guiding and supporting our team throughout the process!
