Jordan Hearne visited School on Wednesday 16th January to talk to students about opportunities within the sports industry and the different degree programmes on offer at the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB). UCFB offers a world first in football and sports education. Students can study courses including Psychology, Business & Finance, Law, Coaching & Management, Media, Journalism – all with a focus on football or sports more widely. Jordan spoke about the distinct emphasis of industry experience within all courses and the excellent employment prospects as a result. Based in iconic campuses at Wembley or Manchester’s Etihad, the opportunity to have a stadium for a classroom would be a dream for many sports enthusiasts! For the aspiring broadcasters, journalists, lawyers, psychologists, business managers and coaches out there, it is well worth considering a career in this growing global sector – the football and sports industry in the UK alone is worth over £20 billion. Thank you to Jordan for speaking to our students.
