Shivanii’s Great Debate Success

On Saturday 30th March, Shivanii, in the Upper Fifth, competed at the Historical Association Great Debate final at Windsor Castle, achieving first place in the competition! This is hugely impressive in a prestigious national competition, especially as Shivanii was competing against Sixth Form students.

This is hugely impressive in a prestigious national competition, especially as Shivanii was competing against Sixth Form students. She spoke for five minutes to answer the question: what was the greatest failure of the Age of Revolutions? Her argument focused on the Industrial Revolution in Britain.
