As Assistant Head, Mr Duncombe is responsible for the school’s day-to-day arrangements and numerous school events. He has various staff roles, and has enjoyed helping re-establish the school’s House system and implement a new approach to service education. He was appointed to this post in 2021, having joined the Leadership team in 2017.

Mr Duncombe arrived at KEHS in 2010 as Head of Geography, his third Head of Department role after stints at other independent schools in the region, and after beginning his career ‘across the drive’ at KES. His wider interests include travel, theatre visits, playing cricket and watching rugby.
