On Tuesday 30th April, the Women and Girls’ Cricket Development Officer at Warwickshire Cricket Board, Nadia Bacciochi, delivered an introductory cricket workshop to students in the Lower School. Many students were playing cricket for the very first time, and within half an hour the group had learned to field with accuracy, bowl at a good pace and length, and use the bat to send the ball flying all over the Sports Hall. Thank you very much to Nadia for running the session. All students are welcome to attend Cricket Club, which now runs after school on Tuesday, led by Ms McKee.

Honouring the Legacy of Major Charity Adams and the 6888 Battalion
King Edward’s School was honoured to welcome Stanley and Judith Earley, the son and daughter of Major Charity Adams, who visited the campus to see the blue plaque and other areas of the grounds connected to their family’s history.
