Swimming Gala Success

On Thursday 7th February, ten of our swimmers travelled to Warwick School to take part in the Warwick 50s Junior Individual Championships Swimming Gala. This has always been a tough competition and, after her success last year, Abigail once again chose to compete in the individual medley.

On Thursday 7th February, ten of our swimmers travelled to Warwick School to take part in the Warwick 50s Junior Individual Championships Swimming Gala. This has always been a tough competition and, after her success last year, Abigail once again chose to compete in the individual medley. Abigail’s performance in the first heat was excellent and she was eventually announced as the overall winner of the competition. A special mention goes to our other swimmers: Audrey, who achieved 2nd place for her backstroke time, Hannah, who achieved third place for her breast stroke time and Neave, who achieved third place for her front crawl time. Well done to all the students who competed: Audrey, Elizabeth, Abigail, Emily, Erin, Neave, Hannah, Annalisa, Amy and Tara.
