On Wednesday 10th October, the Upper Sixth were visited by Dawn Marriott, a personal stylist and image consultant, who gave a fascinating workshop on how to dress well in the various situations that they will encounter when they are at university. This largely involved how to dress appropriately for interviews, and how to make a good first impression. Dawn also demonstrated how to get the most out of the same outfit, by dressing down for casual occasions and simple accessorising to transform an outfit into a smart, more formal look. Dawn was assisted by two of our very own models, Rebecca and Aaliyah, who took to the catwalk to demonstrate some of the outfits, while Priya became increasingly artistic with the camera. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting session for all.
