Lara delivers fascinating talk at TEDxTamworth

A pupil in a blue jumpsuit stands on a stage next to large TEDx Tamworth sign.
During the Easter holidays, Lower Sixth pupil Lara was selected to speak at TEDxTamworth, where she stepped onto the stage alongside 11 adult speakers to deliver a talk on 'Why The AI Age Belongs to the Teen Generalist'.

Lara has long wrestled with a personal tension: in a world that rewards early specialisation, what happens if your interests refuse to fit into one lane? Many young people feel anxious about their futures, pressured to narrow their options too soon. As AI reshapes the job market, Lara argues that curiosity and the ability to connect ideas across disciplines may matter more than narrow credentials alone, and generalists could be exactly what the future needs.
