Last weekend, the Lower Fifth ventured out to Bromsgrove to do their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition. After making it safely to Upton Warren Campsite, with only a few groups getting lost along the way, the students had a go at cooking dinner for themselves using trangia stoves. After a restless sleep in their tents, the students continued their expedition, involving some stand-offs with sheep, run ins with cows and even encounters with horses! Thankfully, all the students made it back in one piece. Overall, the expedition was tiring but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. The students would like to thank all the teachers who gave up their weekend and they are now looking forward to the test expedition in the Malverns!

An exploration of Ancient Greece
From the very first day to the last, we found ourselves entirely submerged in both modern and ancient Greek culture, from participating in a couple of chaotic dances to being taught (and quizzed) on different objects we hunted for in the museums.
