On Friday 8th November, we welcomed the Class of 2019 and their families back to KEHS for a celebration of their A Level results, and all of their KEHS successes. More than 100 guests joined us to hear KEHS alumna Christina Michalos QC (Class of 1990) give her advice to our newest Old Edwardians. Christina is a leading specialist barrister, who was recently appointed as a Queen’s Counsel, only the fifth female QC in one hundred years. Christina advised the girls to plan ten steps ahead and to act today to ensure they achieve their goals. As a specialist in privacy law, she warned about the dangers of social media and our lasting and irreversible online presence. Finally, she told the girls not to put themselves down. It can be easy to attribute to luck, achievements that are actually the result of hard work and perseverance. The evening concluded with drinks and canapes in the dining hall. We wish the Class of 2019 all the best in the future, and hope they will all keep in touch!

An exploration of Ancient Greece
From the very first day to the last, we found ourselves entirely submerged in both modern and ancient Greek culture, from participating in a couple of chaotic dances to being taught (and quizzed) on different objects we hunted for in the museums.
