Christmas at KEHS all wrapped up!

This December, King Edward VI High School for Girls came alive with festive cheer as we celebrated Christmas in style, wrapping up the year with joy!

From the magical snow day to our Christmas House events, the season was packed with occasions that brought our community together. Highlights included the annual Christmas Thirds Disco, the heartwarming KE Community Christmas, the dazzling Steinway Concert and the musical treats at our Christmas Concerts. Pupils and staff also embraced the Christmas spirit with initiatives like festive decoration workshop, the spirited Teacher vs Pupils Christmas Debate and Christmas Jumper Day. All leading up to the lively Christmas Karaoke tradition. Explore the moments that made this season so special through our gallery of festive memories!

Lara delivers fascinating talk at TEDxTamworth

During the Easter holidays, Lower Sixth pupil Lara was selected to speak at TEDxTamworth, where she stepped onto the stage alongside 11 adult speakers to deliver a talk on ‘Why The AI Age Belongs to the Teen Generalist’.

Festival of colour

The Holi event was brought to life on the KEHS field last Friday. We raised over ÂŁ500 for the Wings of Hope charity which supports the education of children in India and Sierra Leone.
