In line with the community spirit of both the KEHS and KES school’s student body, Charlie, Ella and Hanna from Lower Sixth have been undertaking a cycling fundraising challenge to raise money for NHS charities. As part of a group, they aim to cycle 18,000 miles, the equivalent of ‘around the world’ but in lockdown! So far, they have received amazing support and encouragement to push through this arduous attempt. A couple of the group members gave a live radio interview on BBC WM yesterday, to mark the 5000km milestone that has already been reached. Their enthusiasm and commitment remains undiminished, as this is for a fantastic cause to provide support for those fighting the pandemic on the front line.
