Emily, in the Lower Fifth, has been selected to represent Great Britain for the Under 17 Women’s Ultimate (Frisbee) team at the European Junior Ultimate Championships in Poland in August. The sport is best described as a cross between American football and netball, but with a disc. It is not for the fainthearted and involves a lot of running! Emily is working towards representing her country at the 2028 Olympic Games when the sport is set to make its Olympic debut. The international competition in Poland this year requires her to fundraise in order to cover the cost of travel as well as tournament fees.
