On Sunday 14th October, our Development Director Mrs Mepham ran in the Birmingham Half Marathon to raise funds for Assisted Places at KEHS, completing the course in two and a half hours and braving relentless rain. Thank you to everyone who showed their support – including the mother of a current pupil whom she met during the race and gave her just the impetus she needed to keep going!

This was Mrs Mepham’s last hurrah for our school, as she will be taking up a new position as Development Director at Bradford Grammar School next month. During her time working across KEHS and KES, she has raised over £3 million for Assisted Places, scholarships and facilities. Her half marathon has already raised over £2,400 – and she’s hoping to make it to her £2,500 target. If you would like to show your support and make a contribution towards the education of even more talented girls from across Birmingham please click here.
