Languages Lecture

On Tuesday, Sue Clark spoke to 15 girls on the topic of where languages can take you. Despite being a brief talk, it was incredibly insightful and informative. Who would have thought that learning languages could take you to the sideline of a football match with a French speaking player in an English team?

On Tuesday, Sue Clark spoke to 15 girls on the topic of where languages can take you. Despite being a brief talk, it was incredibly insightful and informative. Who would have thought that learning languages could take you to the sideline of a football match with a French speaking player in an English team? Or that you could end up in Disney Headquarters translating Cinderella into Thai? There was plenty of time to ask questions and the girls all went away much more informed and excited about all the benefits of learning languages. Thank you to Mme Franco, Mrs Norman and Señora Atkins for organising the talk.
