Congratulations to the current Upper Sixth girls, Lucia, Zofia, Saffron and Jessica, who have all received Silver Crest Awards for working with Arup as a part of the Engineering Education Scheme last year. The Project looked at the future of transport in the West Midlands and the girls chose to focus on assessing the practicality of linking Birmingham to Oxford, Cambridge and Liverpool using a Hyperloop. They presented their project, including their research into costs, economic benefits and construction constraints, at the Celebration and Assessment Day which took place in May. Well done to all four girls.
