On Thursday 7th March, the school hosted its annual celebration for World Book Day. Nearly everyone in the school took part dressing up as characters from literature, both old and new. There were also numerous other activities going on around school, including a bookmark treasure hunt, bookmark crafting and a Key Stage 3 fiction quiz. We were able to raise over £320 for Book Aid, a charity which supports vulnerable communities around the world working to improve access to books and thereby supporting education, work and healthcare.
National Careers Week 2026
This year nineteen visitors contributed to our Careers Week programme and offered us a feast of insights into different career pathways and roles.
