All girls who knit or crochet (or anyone who would like to give it a go!) can contribute a small blanket to local Birmingham hospitals. Dr Hayton will donate the blankets to A&E Departments, which will then be given to small children. Any girl who would like to contribute should knit or crochet a strip or scarf (25cm x 1m) or a square (25cm x 25cm) which Dr Hayton can then sew together. Any squares or strips should be placed in Dr Hayton’s shelf outside the staffroom, with a note stating the girls’ name, either by the end of this term, or by the beginning of September. Many thanks to 6H who have already made a marvellous blanket!
