On Thursday 16th January, students in the Lower Fifth learnt about the main scientific developments in the fight against cancer in a talk delivered by Dr Tracey Perry from Cancer Research UK. Dr Perry spoke with clarity about the challenges facing health workers and researchers and discussed many of the major breakthroughs in recent years. Students were very involved in the talk, with a number of them asking excellent questions, namely Helena and Imogen, amongst others.
