We are so pleased that we have been able to continue raising money for some fantastic causes this year. So far, highlights include raising £250 for St Mary’s Hospice and Acorns Children’s Hospice and £496 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital through ‘Christmas Jumper Day’.
We raised a further £534 for the ‘Foundation Against Malaria’ through Karaoke. This donation will buy 363 long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) and protect an estimated 653 people which is an entire village covered!
Our school proudly took part in Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a global initiative designed to recognise and value the many different ways people think, learn, and experience the world.
Culture Week has shown KEHS at its best and most lively, from the colourful decorations in the hall to the beautiful music played in the mornings.
This year nineteen visitors contributed to our Careers Week programme and offered us a feast of insights into different career pathways and roles.
It was a privilege for our year 12 pupils attend a jam-packed morning of higher education sessions given by leading academics and admissions staff from Birmingham, Aston, Warwick, Leicester and Nottingham Universities.
